Chicken salad ( high protein )



INGREDIENTS:

- 19.4 oz / 550 grams chicken chest

- 1.4 oz / 40 grams chopped spring onions

- 1 teaspoon/ 6 grams salt

- 2 teaspoon/ 13 grams chopped capers

- 6 tablespoon/ 75 grams mayonnaise

- 0.2 oz/ 7 grams chopped dill

- 1 teaspoon/ 2.3 grams ground pepper


INSTRUCTIONS:


  1. Add water into a deep pot and bring it to a boil.

  2. Add salt

  3. Add chicken breast

  4. Boil it for 15-17 minutes depending on the thickness of the chicken

  5. Let it cool off

  6. Into a large bowl add your chicken and shred it with your hands or use two forks. You can choose the way you want to shred it ( i do it by hand since it is easier ).

  7. Now add chopped spring onions, chopped capers, mayonnaise, chopped dill, and ground pepper, and give it a good mix.

  8. Let it rest in the fridge for at least 1 hour before serving.

*Notes:

If you don't like dill you can replace it with parsley. If you don't have capers at hand you can use pickles instead. Taste it and add more salt if needed.
